The Weihnachtsmärkte usually consist of lots of stalls run by authentic German traders who provide a wide range of seasonal gift ideas for everyone, including handcrafted toys, jewellery, Christmas cards and festive decorations. You will also find speciality food and traditional German delicacies such as Glühwein, Bratwurst and Stollen. The magical atmosphere of the German Christmas markets is often enhanced by local choirs and bands performing Christmas music.
