| UK-German Connection bilateral bears project | Primary schools can host the bears to facilitate easy language learning and intercultural understanding. There are two real, furry teddy bears, Alex from Germany and Ben from the UK. Alex travels to schools in the UK, Ben to their respective project partner schools in Germany. Each bear is accompanied by a wide range of colourful, downloadable resources, including flashcards, worksheets and detailed lesson ideas. |
| Double Club: German | A cooperation between Arsenal FC, UK-German Connection and the Goethe-Institut, this programme combines language-learning with football coaching and online football projects and is designed for once-a-week afternoon workshops involving at least 10 young people. |

| Host a foreign language assistant | Assistants promote foreign language skills and cultural awareness. |
| Host a Comenius assistant | Enhance the European dimension in various subjects; assistants also teach their native language. |
| FLA Ambassadors | A network of German language assistants who are teaching in schools in the UK. They offer special support at a local level by spreading the word about UK-German opportunities, supporting links and partnerships, and carrying out small UK-German projects in their schools and local areas. |

| CILT Resources Library | For those involved in teaching German to young learners, the library’s NACELL collection holds resources specifically designed to support language learning in the primary school, including a number of beautifully illustrated authentic storybooks suitable for children in upper Key Stage 2. The Library also hosts a programme of free events for primary teachers throughout the year, including 'Vorsprung durch Deutsh: Practical activities for Primary German' with UK-German Connection and the Goethe-Institut. |
