Olympics Song Competition
Are you a teacher of German at a UK secondary school?
Do you want to enthuse your pupils for the Olympics and get creative with languages and music?
Arsenal Double Club is looking for secondary schools to help create the lyrics for a new, multi-lingual song on the topic of 'Together in the Language of Sport'.
Pupils from each winning school will be invited to take part in a professional recording session for the song in London as singers in the one-off super-group, Team Harmony 2012. Winning schools will also have the opportunity to take part in the filming of the official music video at a celebratory event and activity day at the Emirates Stadium (date TBC).
The finished song and video will be publicised to all UK schools, and will form the basis of a special resource pack for the European Day of Languages 2012.
The closing date for entries is 9 December 2011.
