Bussi-Bär, the bear with the golden heart, is much loved by children in Germany. Now, thanks to a project run earlier this year, he also has a dedicated following in Rochester.
In January, Year 3 pupils at King’s School had lots of fun getting to know Bussi and his friends in the Bussi-Bär magazine and on the website. They learnt a rhyme from the magazine and then even made up one of their own!
After gathering lots of information on Bussi-Bär, the children used their ICT skills to create their own Power Point presentation about him. They also made bookmarks and string puppets with the characters on. Some children were so enthusiastic that they even subscribed to the magazine!
